The debate over the new version of Android took a step closer to completion today as Google teased it’s new OS ahead of the expected announcement tomorrow evening.
Every year, there’s a flurry of nominations for the name of Google’s next OS and so far, they’ve all taken on the name of sweets or desserts. Although Google is teasing it’s new OS, it’s unknown exactly what it’ll be called but the teaser video, which you can see below, does reveal that the next version of Android, aka Android L, will have the Android 5.0 number.
We’ve previously heard that Android L could yet have the Android 4.5 version number but Google’s teaser puts that to bed and we now know for sure that Android 5.0 is on the horizon. Now to see if the new OS is joined by a new Nexus device as is customary for Google.
